Results of the Advanced Level Examination 2020 would be released by April this year so that the students could enter into universities in September, Education Minister Professor G. L. Peiris said today.
He said 362,000 students faced the examination last year and that it is vital to reduce the time gap between the day the results were released and the date of university admission.
“Our students wait for one and half years to enter into universities once results are out,” he said in response to questions posed by journalists in Kandy.
