The Attorney General (AG) Dappula de Livera has returned 38 more incomplete investigation files to the Act. IGP on suspects arrested over Easter attacks, Coordinating officer to AG State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne stated. This is in addition to the 40 incomplete files returned on 26th June. The AG has also observed that legal action could not be taken based on the files returned. The AG has requested the Act. IGP to complete investigations and hand over the completed files to the AG as soon as possible.
