President's Counsel Ali Sabry has been appointed National Leader of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Muslim Federation while former member of the Central Province Provincial Council A.L.M. Uwais Hajiar has been appointed National Organizer of the Federation. The Federation's Secretary-General will be senior lawyer Razick Zarook PC, who is the Chairman of the Insurance Regulatory Commission. The Federation announced its key officials at its general meeting, held yesterday (1) under the patronage of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa in Kalubowila The Federation hopes to set up branches in all 25 districts and wishes to establish a common understanding, vision and goals for the community's progress and prosperity.
