A private bus traveling from Colombo to Embilipitiya caught fire in Madampe’s Kauduwawa area early this morning (10), with around 50 passengers onboard.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident.
With the assistance of local residents, the fire was brought under control, but the bus was completely destroyed.
The Rakwana Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
