Riyad Bathiudeen, the brother of former Minister and Leader of All Ceylon Makkal Congress (ACMC) Rishad Bathiudeen, has been arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID). The arrest was made over alleged links to the Easter Sunday attacks that took place on the 21st of April last year. Riyad had reportedly been arrested by the CID in Puttalum.
