The government will only permit the importation of yellow coloured buses for school transport going forward, Transport Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said today. Amaraweera made these comments during a press conference in Colombo today. He said for the buses that are already in operation within the country, the government will setup a programme to paint the buses in yellow. He said the decision was taken as a measure to standardize and prioritize school transport.
