A doctor at the obstetrics and gynecology unit of the Trincomalee Hospital has been diagnosed with COVID-19, health officials said.

This was confirmed by a PCR test done on the doctor at his home due to an illness. The health department said that the doctor's associates would be directed to quarantine as soon as possible.
