Export industries to continue through curfew

The Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) announced yesterday (28) that it is currently working towards ensuring that the operations of export industries remain uninterrupted during the curfew period in the country. “To manage the Covid-19 situation, the export industries operating within the country have been advised to follow all the safety measures recommended by the health authorities during the curfew period and as per the ‘Guidelines on Covid-19, Preparedness for Workplaces’, dated 2 April 2020, issued by the Ministry of Health and safety precautions must be strictly implemented,” the EDB said.
