Former Urban Development Authority (UDA) Chairman Nimal Perera is tipped to be appointed as the Chairman of Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT).
In 2018, during the 52 day government, Perera was appointed Chairman of Sri Lanka Tea Board (SLTB) and as Chairman of State Engineering Corporation.
