A hartal will be staged against the government's decision to use the Kattankudy Batticaloa Campus as a quarantine Centre.
The Kattankudy Urban Council and Business Association issuing a joint press release today (10) called on all area residents to stage a hartal tomorrow (11) against the government's decision.
According to the press release, all Kattankudy area residents have been requested close stores following morning prayers.
Last Saturday (7), the Health Ministry announced that it had decided to use the Batticaloa University as a quarantine centre for passengers arriving from Italy, Iran and South Korea.

A hartal will be staged against the government's decision to use the Kattankudy Batticaloa Campus as a quarantine Centre.
