A Police band was seen singing to entertain families who were subject to lockdown in Maradana, Colombo today.

The police had organised the band after completing a coronavirus awareness program in the area.

Residents in Arnold Ratnayake Mawatha in Maradana were subjected to quarantine within their homes after a person in the area had died upon contracting COVID-19 late Wednesday.

300 individuals who had contact with the COVID-19 the diseased were directed to the Punani quarantine centre.
