President Gotabaya Rajapaksa invited former President Maithripala Sirisena to declare open a building at the Dahamwewa Primary School in Medirigiriya today. The former president was accompanying President Rajapaksa during the sixth installment of ‘Gama Samaga Pilisandarak’ programme which was held in Medirigiriya, Polonnaruwa. President Rajapaksa who arrived at the school to open the building turned towards his predecessor and said, “The one who made way for the constructions should open it." Accordingly, the former President declared open the building.
