Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) temporarily suspended regular trading for 30 minutes from 11.47 am to 12.17 pm this morning (12) .
The decision had been taken as the S&P SL20 index had dropped by 5% during the trading session.
This is the second time regular trading at the CSE was temporarily halted this week.
On Tuesday (10), regular trading was halted for 30 minutes from 9.42 am to 10.12 am as S&P SL20 index dropped by 5% during the trading session. However, it recommenced at 10.12 am.
