Two Dubai returnees are among 16 Covid-19 cases reported yesterday (10), the Health Authorities said. The two persons had tested positive for the virus while they were undergoing quarantine. The patients were among the 197 Sri Lankans who were repatriated from Dubai on Thursday. Meanwhile, another Sri Lankan who returned from Dubai tested positive after arriving in the country. The individual had displayed symptoms of COVID -19 at the Bandaranaike International Airport. The passenger was subsequently admitted to the Negombo General Hospital and had tested positive for the virus. According, a total of 3 returnees from Dubai have tested positive for the virus so far.
