Dhammika Bandara, who manufactured and offered an anti-COVID-19 syrup to Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi, said the minister wouldn’t have contracted the virus had she taken the syrup in correct doses. Despite having the syrup, Minister tested positive for COVID-19. In response, Bandara said, “I informed the minister to take it in spoonful of doses which she did at that moment. I’m not aware whether she continued to have the syrup in correct doses. Had she taken it in correct doses, she wouldn’t have contracted COVID.”
