The Railway Department and Central Cultural Fund (CCF) will install decorative lighting at Ella’s Nine Arch Bridge to boost night-time tourism starting in August. 

A small entry fee will be introduced. 

A unique hotel using repurposed train carriages near Nanu Oya Station is set to open by early August.
