The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced an eight-and-a-half-hour water cut in several areas of Gampaha District on Thursday, 27 March.

The affected regions include Peliyagoda, Wattala, Ja-Ela, Katunayake, Seeduwa, and parts of Kelaniya, Biyagama, Mahara, Dompe, Katana, Minuwangoda, and Gampaha.

Water supply will be suspended from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to facilitate essential maintenance work on the electricity system at the Biyagama water treatment plant.
