The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has reiterated its commitment to strengthening cooperation and partnership with Sri Lanka to promote prosperity and sustainable development.
This pledge was made by UAE Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan during a meeting with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake in Colombo, as part of his working visit.
Sheikh Abdullah conveyed warm greetings from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and expressed the UAE’s desire to deepen collaboration across multiple sectors.
President Dissanayake commended the UAE’s international standing and reaffirmed Sri Lanka’s readiness to build on the long-standing friendship between the two nations.
The meeting also included senior UAE officials, underscoring the importance both sides place on expanding economic and diplomatic ties.
