Sri Lankan Airlines is set to expand its fleet to 51 aircraft, up from the current 22, according to Deputy Minister of Finance Harshana Suriyapperuma.
The national carrier plans to acquire 6 propeller aircraft for domestic and short-haul international routes.
The airline aims to increase its revenue to US$ 2,013 million by the financial year 2029/30, up from US$ 876 million in the 2024/25 financial year.
