Aahil Kaleel beat Chamidu Abeysinghe to clinch the U14 boys’ title in the 108th National Championship yesterday (15).
The Thomian beat Abeysinghe two sets to one (6-2, 0-6, 7-5).
In the girls’ U18 final, Dinara de Silva from St. Bridget’s College managed to beat in-form Saajida Razick 7-6 and 6-3 to clinch the title.
In the girls’ U12 final, Annaya Norbet from Holy Family Convent beat Hesandi Mallawa in straight sets (6-4, 6-3).
