In the U19 Division 1 Tier A Inter-Schools Two-Day Tournament 2023/’24, Trinity College secured an innings’ victory against St. Thomas’ College, Matara in Asgiriya on Friday (19). Malith Rathnayake’s 13 wickets for 60 runs helped the Trinity Lions to register the win.
Richmond College triumphed with a 4-wicket win over Maliyadeva College in their traditional encounter at Kurunegala. Kaveesha Induwara starred for Richmond, claiming 10 wickets for 94 runs while Dimath Abeysinghe of Maliyadeva College scalped a total of 9 wickets.
The traditional encounter between St. Aloysius’ College and St. Sebastian’s College, Katuneriya concluded in a draw at Katuneriya. Vihanga Theekshana’s notable performance included a match bag of 9 wickets.
