The Sri Lanka firms of the PwC network have announced in a recent press release their decision to exit the network. The firms intend to join the Deloitte network, with effect from 28 October. The PwC network and the firms have also extended their best wishes to each other, it was added. 

Commenting on the development, Territory Senior Partner Sujeewa Mudalige said: “The decision to join the Deloitte network is well aligned with the firm’s strategic direction and business goals, and combining with Deloitte will add to the potential for growth in key service areas of audit and assurance, tax, advisory, and technology consulting. We are confident that joining the Deloitte network would be a good fit and will deliver the desired impact for our business, our clients, and our people.”

Deloitte is the largest professional services network globally, with a presence in over 150 countries and comprising more than 450,000 professionals, the statement noted.

Senior Partner Channa Manoharan said: “Our commitment to stay relevant to our clients and deliver high quality work remains unchanged, and as part of the Deloitte network, there will also be no change to the services we offer.
