Rainfall is also expected elsewhere after 1.00 p.m. 

Fairly heavy rains up to 75mm are likely in Central, Uva, North-central provinces, and Vavuniya. 

The public is advised to take precautions against strong winds, lightning, and morning mist in Central, Uva, and Ampara districts.
