Sri Lanka has welcomed 485,102 tourists from 1 January to 27 February 2025, continuing its strong growth in the tourism sector.

Accordingly, India remained the top source market with 77,381 visitors, followed by Russia (63,337) and the UK (46,560). Other key markets included Germany, China, and France.

In February alone, 232,341 tourists arrived, with 22 February marking the highest single-day influx of 10,815 visitors.
