Hemas Holding PLC is to appoint Dr. Sumitha Anura Bandara Ekanayake as the Deputy Chairman of its Board of Directors and Ranil Prasad Pathirana to its Board of Directors as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the company with effect from 1 January 2023.

Dr. Sumitha Anura Bandara Ekanayake was an Independent Non-Executive Director of the company.

The Board of Directors is also to appoint Ranil Prasad Pathirana as a member of the audit committee in place of Jyotindra Trivedi with effect from 1 January 2023. Jyotindra Trivedi will continue to serve on the Board of Directors as an Independent Non-Executive Director.

In terms of Section 8 of the listing rules of the Colombo Stock Exchange, the Board of Directors of Hemas Holdings PLC made these disclosures.
