Adani Group has dismissed reports claiming the cancellation of its 484 MW wind power projects in Mannar and Pooneryn as false and misleading.
In a statement issued today (24), the group clarified that the Sri Lankan Cabinet’s decision on 2 January to reevaluate the approved tariff is part of a standard review process under the new Government.
Accordingly, Adani reaffirmed its commitment to investing $1 billion in Sri Lanka’s green energy sector to support renewable energy and economic growth.
