Prime Minister (PM) Harini Amarasuriya held discussions with an International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation, led by Incoming Mission Chief Evan Papageorgiou, to assess Sri Lanka's economic status. 

The meeting focused on the progress made under the IMF-supported program and the necessary actions to meet future economic targets. Both sides addressed emerging economic challenges and the steps required to find solutions. 

The meeting was attended by key officials, including Secretary to the Prime Minister, Pradeep Saputhanthri, and representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).
