President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has appointed a committee to study the potential impact of the US reciprocal tariff system and provide recommendations to the Government.

The committee includes top officials from the Ministry of Finance, Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL), Board of Investment (BOI), Export Development Board (EDB) , and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with key economic advisors and industry leaders. 

Their findings will help shape Sri Lanka’s response to the new trade challenges.
