Aruna Newspaper and Phoenix Company jointly launched the purified hot and cold drinking water project, built under the patronage of Ven. Anuruddha at the Gangula Thanna Nissankamalla Rajamaha Viharaya, near Nissanka Lena today (3), amidst the blessings of the Maha Sangha, to quench the thirst of the public.

The event was attended by Yasas Withanage, Assistant Marketing Manager of Aruna Newspaper, Asith Jayasinghe, Digital Marketing and Sales Manager of Aruna Newspaper, Ruwan Rangana, Senior Executive Officer of the Promotion Division of Aruna Newspaper, officials of Phoenix Company, Officer-In-Charge of Nallathanniya Police, Lakshan Maldeniya, Public Health Inspector (PHI) of Nallathanniya and a group of others.

Speaking further, Nallathanniya PHI Lakshan Maldeniya and Nallathanniya OIC said that this will not only quench the thirst of the people but also reduce the use of plastic bottles that pollute the environment.
