India's External Affairs Minister, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, announced today (12) on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) that he had met with Sri Lankan diplomats and officers currently undergoing the first Special Course at the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service.

During the meeting, Jaishankar emphasised the importance of cooperation among Global South nations, particularly in navigating the complexities and opportunities of the digital era.

Discussions focused on the potential and challenges posed by rapid technological advancements, highlighting the need for strategic collaboration in addressing shared global issues.
