The first phase of the ‘Urban Green Zones’ project under the Clean Sri Lanka program was launched today (31) at Kelani Bridge, Peliyagoda. 

Accordingly, the initiative involves tree planting between Nawaloka Roundabout and Kelani Bridge, with maintenance responsibilities given to students. 

A mobile app will track the trees' progress. 

The project is supported by multiple Government and local authorities.
