The National Building and Research Organisation (NBRO) has issued Level 1 (Yellow) early landslide warnings for multiple areas as heavy rain continues across several parts of Sri Lanka.

The warnings, effective until 4.00 p.m tomorrow (11), cover selected areas in the Galle, Kalutara, Matara, and Ratnapura districts.

Affected areas include Elpitiya in Galle, Walallawita in Kalutara, Pitabeddara in Matara, and both Ratnapura and Kalawana in the Ratnapura District.

Residents in these areas are advised to remain alert and take precautionary measures.
