President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has instructed the Ministry of Finance to provide a Rs. 3000 monthly interim allowance to all pensioners, starting next week.
After reviewing the delay in adding the allowance to the October pension, the PresidentDissanayake directed officials to ensure the payment is credited promptly.
Despite financial challenges, the allowance will be included in future pensions, following requests from pensioners.
