Meet Abu, the UK's largest dog, a two-year-old Turkish Malakli.
Abu stands at an impressive 7 feet 2 inches when on his hind legs and weighs just over 18 stone, equivalent to the weight of a baby elephant.
Abu's daily diet is equally impressive, consisting of 3kg of meat, including one whole chicken, three whole mackerel, two eggs, and raw meat dog food.
Owner Dylan Shaw revealed that Abu's dietary requirements cost him GBP 11 (approx. Rs. 4300) a day, adding up to a little over GBP 4,000 (approx. 1,500,000) per-year.
Abu was imported from Turkey in November 2021 when he was just four months old.
Surprisingly, he was already larger than Dylan's other dog, Luna, a Doberman, upon arrival.
Dylan has dedicated time to socialising Abu with people and other dogs, making sure that he is comfortable in many environments.
Their regular walks often lead to requests for pictures, with some days becoming a challenge to cover even 10 feet without being stopped.
