Sri Lanka has been chosen to host the 37th session of the Asia Pacific Regional Conference (APRC) of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
The conference is to be held from 19 to 22 February 2024 in Colombo.
FAO is a specialized agency of the United Nations that leads international efforts to defeat hunger and improve food security and nutrition.
The Asia Pacific Regional Conference will enable ministers of agriculture and high officials from 46 member countries across the Asia Pacific region to discuss challenges and priorities related to food and agriculture and promote regional coherence.
