The Government of Sri Lanka has pledged United States Dollars ($) 1 million in humanitarian aid to assist ongoing relief and recovery efforts in Myanmar. 

In addition, Sri Lanka is preparing to deploy medical teams and provide health relief assistance to support those affected on the ground, said the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Arun Hemachandra.
