A suspect was arrested by Navy with a stock of 600 foreign cigarettes prepared for sale. 

According to Navy, the arrest took place during a coordinated search operation conducted by the Navy and Police at the Anuradhapura Junction of Trincomalee on 22 April. 

The suspect - along with the seized items - was handed over to the Trincomalee Harbour Police for onward legal actions.
