The Election Commission (EC) revealed that the official polling cards for the upcoming 2025 presidential election can be obtained by declaring one’s identity at the local post office from today (18) to 20 September. 

This applies to those who have not received their polling cards via mail, the process of which ended on 14 September. 

Voters can also obtain a copy of the polling card online by visiting the e-services section of the EC website: https://eservices.elections.gov.lk. 

According to the EC, the polling card is not mandatory to take part in the voting process, as any voter with a valid form of identification can vote if their name is mentioned in the voter list.
