India’s Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar met with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake in Colombo today (4).
The Indian Minister, who conveyed the greetings of Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi, was the first foreign minister to visit President Dissanayake since the new Government was sworn in.
The duo discussed ways to deepen ongoing cooperation and strengthen India-Sri Lanka ties for the benefit of people of two countries and the region.
