Zhu Yanwei, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Chinese Embassy, reaffirmed China's strong ties with Sri Lanka, highlighting mutual aspirations for prosperity. 

He noted China's assistance to Sri Lanka, including 40 million rupees in cash and 400 million rupees in material aid following the country's economic downturn. 

Zhu assured ongoing support for Sri Lanka's development towards a digitized and prosperous future.
