Former Member of Parliament (MP) Lalith Ellawala announced his retirement from politics today (27), citing dissatisfaction with the state of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB).
Speaking at a press conference in Panadura, Ellawala expressed concerns over the party's future, predicting further chaos and decline.
He also confirmed his resignation from all SJB positions at this press conference.
