Here are some results of the Chairman’s and Premier Trophy knockout quarter-final encounters concluded over the weekend. All the matches were played at Havelock Park. Semi Finals will also be played at the same venue with the finals scheduled at Royal Sports Complex.
Some exciting action packed rugby was dished out in these matches but many good achievements get sidelined mainly due to top division rugby getting all the attention while the up and coming divisions and its players go out without sufficient coverage. We at The Daily Morning Sports feel that it is our duty as promoters of sports to uplift and nurture the grassroots and lesser known schools of Sri Lanka Rugby.
