Sri Lanka recorded 93,915 tourist arrivals in the first half of April, with India leading the numbers at 18,220 visitors (19.4%), followed by the UK, Russia, Germany, and Australia.

Total tourist arrivals for 2025 have risen to 816,191, with India (136,535), the UK (102,273), and Russia (81,130) among the top source markets.

In March alone, 229,298 tourists visited Sri Lanka — a 9.62% increase compared to March 2024.
