The Cabinet has approved the appointment of A.B.M. Ashroff as an Additional Secretary to the Prime Minister’s (PM) Office. 

Ashroff, a Special Grade officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service, currently serves as a management expert for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)’s Green Climate Fund. 

His appointment fills one of the three vacant positions out of the five approved for the PM’s Office.
