The amended National Minimum Wage Bill for Employees was certified by the Speaker of the Parliament Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena yesterday (11) according to Article 79 of the Constitution. 

This bill will be known as the National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Bill No. 48 of 2024.
