The Government of India has launched a financial assistance scheme benefiting 200 students from economically weaker families at the University of Jaffna and Eastern University.
The monthly grants alleviate financial stress, enabling students to focus on studies, purchase books, and cover essential expenses like food and fieldwork.
India annually offers 710 scholarships to Sri Lankan students, including over 200 fully funded opportunities covering tuition, living costs, and more, across diverse fields such as Engineering, Humanities, and Medicine.
