The Department of Examinations has announced that the 2024 Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination will take place in March next year , with specific dates to be confirmed later. 

The Advanced Level (A/L) Examination is set for 25 November to 20 December.

The Commissioner General of Examinations Amith Jayasundara stated the aim is to return to a normal examination schedule by 2026.

Re-evaluation applications for the recently released O/L results will open tomorrow (1) and can be submitted online until 14 October.
