Jetstar Asia began scheduled flights between Sri Lanka and Singapore today (21), operating 5 return flights weekly with Airbus A320 aircraft.
The inaugural flight landed at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) at 10:30 am, carrying 179 passengers.
Air Chief Marshal (Retd.) Harsha Abeywickrema, Chairman of Airport and Aviation Services, also highlighted the significance of this new connection, boosting Sri Lanka's tourism and aviation sectors.
