The Cabinet of Ministers approved a proposal to submit an order for parliamentary approval that aims to reduce the cess duty by Rs. 1 per kg on the import of clinker, cement stocks, and bags in retail packaging.
This order also includes provisions for exporting up to 1 million metric tonnes of black stone blocks for construction, subject to environmental recommendations.
