Sri Lanka all-rounder Dasun Shanaka has been signed by Gujarat Titans (GT) as a replacement for the injured Glenn Phillips for the remainder of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

Shanaka, bought for INR 75 lakh, returns to the Titans after featuring in three matches during IPL 2023.

Glenn Phillips suffered a groin injury during a match against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) and has since returned to New Zealand.

Accordingly, South African pacer Kagiso Rabada has also left the tournament due to personal reasons, though the team has not named a replacement.

GT currently sit second on the points table with 4 wins from 6 matches and will face Delhi Capitals (DC) next tomorrow (19) in Ahmedabad.
